In response to a media inquiry regarding US President Trump's executive order suspending duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value shipments, which will affect many packages from China, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday that China has taken notice of the relevant situation and hopes that the US will adhere to the market principle of fair competition and provide a fair, just, and non-discriminatory business environment for companies from all countries, including Chinese companies.
